1. Minutes of last AGM:

2. Membership:
Memberships are down on last year by
half, this appears to be largely due to the fact we did not have a
treasurer for several months and therefore no courses were run, members
are disillusioned by what NESTA has to offer so are not keen to renew
their memberships. Memberships will be held open for reps to encourage
new members to join.
3.
Course Costings:
As there have not
been any courses this has not been used yet. It will be reviewed at the next
AGM.
4. Chairperson's Report:
Thanks were given to all the committee for
their work in what has been a difficult year for NESTA. Thanks to Marj and Rajan
for all their help and support.
5.
Treasurer's Report:
The accountant has not been able to
verify the accounts yet. They will be looked at in June and discussed at
the next NESTA reps meeting. Informally, NESTA funds look healthy.

6. AOB:
It was
suggested by a member that NESTA could offer bursaries to help members
attend training courses/conferences. This was discussed and agreed to
be trialled for 1 year, with this to be reviewed at next years AGM. A
maximum budget for this year has been set at £1500 with this to be
spread across the year. Applications for bursaries will be considered at NESTA reps meetings in September, December, March and May. A working
party has been set up to devise an application form which will be
circulated asap.
Next Meeting:
The AGM (followed by Reps meeting) will be held
on Wednesday 20 May at 2.30 pm. in Room 4 at SureStart North, Hindpool
