Reps

A big Thank you to all the Reps who have worked very hard and organised some excellent courses this past year. Feedback from course delegates has been very positive.

Our meeting continue to be well attended and we have Reps from most North East Trusts. There have been some new Reps joining us over the last year, so thanks you for volunteering to help Nesta run courses.

Committee

The current Committee have been very dedicated to their roles with Nesta for many years. This stability and commitment has ensured that Nesta has continued to be successful.

A big Thank you to Margaret as Treasurer, who has worked extremely hard to make sure finances run smoothly and efficiently. She has held a role on the Committee for 8 years and has played a huge part in introducing many positive changes, such as computerised accounts and the introduction of the Website; all of which have greatly improved the running of Nesta.

Nicola has been a great support as Vice-Chair by providing me with help and back-up this year. She is always very hardworking and has committed herself to organising many courses over the years.

Thank you also to Gillian who has been very dedicated in her role for many years and continues to do a great job as our Secretary. She has organised many courses and dedicated lots of time to Nesta.

Admin Support

As always, Marj provides us with excellent admin support and always makes running courses much less stressful. She is always so organised and can be relied upon to have the latest Nesta information! She retired from her post in Gateshead last year, and she has been  willing to carry on as admin support for NESTA. Thank you Marj for all your hard work.

The Website:

Our Website always looks professional and it has become an essential tool for downloading the latest information on courses and the Reps pack. It is widely used by both Reps and Nesta members. Thanks to Rajan for the time he dedicates keeping it looking interesting and up to date.

The Year Ahead:

Nesta continues to be well supported by Reps, Members and the Regional Managers. Reps are looking into courses for the year ahead and hopefully many of these will come to fruition.

I shall be standing down from my position as Chair today. I have held a role on the NESTA Committee for five years and feel it is now time to hand over to someone else.

I have enjoyed my time on the Committee, working alongside lots of very dedicated SLT's and wish to say thank you to all who have supported me in my role.
